The Writings Of Tao Writer – Out Of Balance – Butterflies, Monkeys And Morphs

One of the activities I engage in everyday when possible is a walk along the Tomebamba River near my home in Cuenca, Ecuador. During this walking meditation my mind wonders along with that of the river. I love the sound of water. When the river is high, it blocks out the sounds of the city and my mind transcends to other worlds while my feet remain firmly in contact with the cobblestoned path. This path for a little while becomes a Yellow Brick Road into my own thoughts and life.

Out Of Balance –  Butterflies, Monkeys And Morphs

This morning was a bit cold for me so I waited for the sun to come out before taking my first walk of the day. Once again it was the sight of a bee which jolted my thought process.

Everything, whether in science, the arts, or business depends upon balance. Our bodies are dependent upon all of the systems working together. When one system becomes dysfunctional, the other systems pull a greater load to counterbalance the dysfunction. We can also add medical care to assist. Sometimes the body recovers, sometimes it does not.

“In  chaos theory , the Butterfly Effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state.” [1]

Example: A butterfly in India flaps it wings and contributes to the development of a cyclone in Fiji.

The fires in South America are polluting the atmosphere but more importantly they are killing and destroying the habitat of thousands of species of life from which for many there will be no recovery. The resulting atmospheric pollution will affect the life span of humans in Africa, Australia, and eventually the world.

“The Hundredth Monkey effect is a hypothetical phenomenon in which a new behaviour or idea is claimed to spread rapidly by unexplained means from one group to all related groups once a critical number of members of one group exhibit the new behaviour or acknowledge the new idea.” [2]

Example: Monkeys on an isolated island lose their primary food source due to disease. It takes some time but scientists plant sweet potatoes on the island as a new possible food source. The monkeys find them too gritty and will not eat them. One monkey takes a potato to the river and washes it. The other monkeys follow. Problem solved.

On another island hundreds of miles away the banana disease hits. The monkeys immediately start eating sweet potatoes, but only after first washing them in the river. The learning curve was immediate.

Miners at one time took parakeets into the mines to warn of methane gas before scientific instruments did the same thing. The bees dying for unexplained reasons is also a warning. They are dying around the world almost as with mass consciousness. They are all experiencing the same behavioral disorder on different continents. Colony Collapse Disorder causes them to give up on living in mass numbers.

Morphogenetic Fields are fields of thought created by everything in existence; it is the input and output of creation. With every thought and action (or non-action) every individual strengthens one of those fields of thought that exist or with the focus of enough minds, creates a new one. You’ve heard of mass consciousness? This is a morphogenic field. Global fear, judgement, peace and love are also morphogenic fields in existence, waxing and waning with every individual thought.” [3]

Our world citizens are being led by many leaders who place their own political, economic, and financial gains ahead of those they claim to protect. Hatred for one’s fellow man and woman based upon skin color, sex, and national origin is more predominant than the love Jesus spoke of in his Sermon On The Mount or that Plato speaks of in his dialogues Phaedrus and the Symposium.

Hatred and fear are human viruses. Caused, created and spread by humans. Utilized by leaders who seek to divide rather than unite. Morphogenetic fields are fields of energy which gain strength based upon the amount of energy poured into them. When the immigrants from the war torn areas of Europe, Central America, and the Middle East sought refuge, borders popped up one at a time like a virus. Hatred based upon unproven fears spread across the planet at a very rapid rate.

These three phenomenon are occurring simultaneously around our planet with very little effort by humans or governments to change or correct the disorders. Bob Marley believed that one could cure racism, hatred and fear by injecting love and music into the lives of everyday people. The world could use more of that thinking. All the current signs indicate we are venturing more and more into another dark era for humanity.
