The Writings Of Tao Writer – The Ritual In The Routines

Tao Writer (April 17, 1948 -)

There are certain things I do everyday. I get out of bed, I go to the bathroom, I wash my face, I brush my teeth, I make up my bed, I look outside at my mountain, I look at the sky to check the weather, I put water in the microwave, I put leaves or coffee in a cup and add the hot water, I have yogurt or a piece of fruit (sometimes both), I read the four emails I automatically receive each morning, I read/write, I go for a walk before the two o’clock curfew, I have lunch with my isolation mates, I read/write, I may take a nap (optional), I read/write some more, I have tea and a snack with my isolation mates, I FaceTime with friend(s), I may watch a movie (optional), I read/write, I go to sleep, I wake up in the early hours, I read/write, I go back to sleep, I wake up, I get out of bed. I am the common factor in the everyday rituals composing the routines of my life.
