The Poetry Of Tao Writer – Always Another Mountain

Always Another Mountain

Life is amazing from the time we breath
our first breath until the time we exhale our last.
But life is not easy. It was never meant to be.
Life is meant to be appreciated and enjoyed.

Watching hummingbirds hover around the feeder
Walking barefoot in the desert sand or on an empty beach
Listening to the howler monkeys or the call of a red tail hawk.

Riding full tilt on a bicycle down a curving mountain road
with nothing in front of me to hinder my exhilaration
until I reach the bottom and start the next exhausting climb.

There is always another mountain.
